FIRST OF ALL..
This song should be played while reading today's blog:
Mainly because Cameron Mitchell is as talented as he is adorable.
And I like Phoenix, this song, this cover, his face, ect.
As of 10am, here are some things i'm going to talk about that went down today...
1. I've decided that if/when I get a tattoo (possibly on my ribs, ouchie), it will look like this:
Elnaam is the Hebrew pronunciation for "Delight".
Which is the first word of a wonderful verse that I love..
Psalm 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
I love this verse because it means a few things to me:
A. God WANTS us to happy. He WANTS us to have the desires of our hearts.
B. Because God is so loving and good, if we simply let him live through us, anything that we could imagine could be ours. And that means so much to me because I just have a bazillion dreams, goals, ambitions... the ONLY way I will ever reach the points i'm aiming at, are if Jesus is working through me.
C. Money is NOT a problem for God. He probably looks at our wants and needs and just laughs at how we freak out or scramble to fulfill those things. He has promised to take care of us. We just need to trust Him and not rely on our own works and problems.
2. My Grandpa makes the best hearts.
3. I love my new glasses.
4. If you are a black man named Gideon, and you are from France.
YOU ARE AWESOME.
5. Moderately cold, foggy, dreary, overcasty mornings are just THE BEST.
Especially when partnered by a cup of hot blueberry cobbler coffee, Bon Iver, and those kind of words from Jesus that just put ya in a good mood, and make you want to jump around yell about it :)
That's all for nowwww... The day certainly hasn't been long enough yet for any more than that.
